Alocasia Zebrina

from $60.00

With its striking zebra-like patterns on its elongated leaves, this plant adds a touch of exotic elegance to any indoor jungle. Find care instructions below:

Light: Alocasia Zebrinas thrive in medium to bright, indirect sunlight. Be aware that they are not suited to low light or direct sunlight - which can scorch their leaves.

Water: Zebrinas enjoy weekly watering sessions and frequent misting, keeping their soil moist but not wet. In winter, we recommend allowing the top 2’ of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering and root rot. This plant is not drought tolerant, and extended periods of dryness will cause leaf edges to brown.

Repot: Smaller plants should be repotted once every 12-18 months. You should choose a potting vessel one to two inches larger in diameter than your current one to allow for growth. Please note: Alocasia plants are toxic, so make sure that you wear gloves throughout the reporting of your plant and wash your hands thoroughly after handling your plant.
